But reproductions of tapestries are just as rare as Renaissance pieces of furniture which makes them an excellent choice if you want to create a sophisticated and exquisite look. |
The second reason why reproductions of Renaissance tapestries are becoming an increasingly popular choice is the fact that they are much closer to the original than painting reproductions. Whereas the paintings are most often only framed prints, many tapestry reproductions are hand woven some even according to the traditional waving methods. Of course, they cannot compare to the originals but they are significantly less expensive and less fragile. In addition to tapestries that follow the originals to the slightest detail, it is also possible to find unique tapestries in Renaissance style which are perhaps even a better choice especially if you own original Renaissance furniture.
